After President Biden’s amazing S.O.T.U. and White House Correspondents Dinner speeches, I stumbled upon a fairly recent story about the polling of US historians. These historians ranked President Biden at #14 on the list of all 46 US Presidents and ranked Donald Trump in last place where he obviously belongs. These fantastic speeches and new information put things into perspective for me regarding misconceptions about the upcoming US election in November. I now may have some new information for many people who do not know that the most qualified man to ever become President Of The United States has officially done a great job at being President Of The United States.

Utilizing his skills, compassion and decades of experience with US Govt logistics, President Biden has attained a historic amount of wins. These include leading America from the worst of the Covid-19 pandemic to a best in the world recovery, lowering prescription drug costs, major progress on fighting Climate Change, signing a $1 trillion American infrastructure law and reclaiming America's respect on the global stage after already having saved America/the world from a MAGA White House once.

Most people don’t assume 81 year old men can fit the definition of “super cool” but I guarantee you that this super long list of President Biden wins is super cool! Take my word as an American expat living in Barcelona, a former jaded millennial and former independent Republican Party leaning voter now turned emphatic Biden advocate and Democratic Party voter.

1. President Biden has achieved 194 Federal Judge confirmations and counting.

• President Biden so far has gotten 194 highly qualified federal judges confirmed by the US Senate including superstar Katanji Brown Jackson to The US Supreme Court. President Biden has set a record for public defenders appointed to federal courts and according to Federal Judicial Center statistics nearly 66% of the judges that Biden has appointed so far are women and members of ethnic minority groups. This has been a much needed accomplishment for our federal courts that have suffered from lacking perspectives of these groups of Americans for two hundred years.

Potentially exceeding Mitch Mcconnell/Donald Trump rightwing federal judges confirmed is cool and diversifying US Federal Courts is SUPER COOL!

1. President Biden has been a Climate Change hero.

• President Biden will go down in history for many unprecedented steps in the fight against climate change. Some of the highlights include signing the Inflation Reduction Act, which is the largest financial investment ever in fighting climate change, by tackling super pollutants, building America’s first nationwide electric car-charging system, greatly scaling up carbon reduction, rejoining the Paris Climate Accords, establishing “The Climate Corps” and an array of other federal initiatives addressing climate change.

A President that can’t be bought by oil companies and works tirelessly to address the existential crisis of Climate Change is definitely SUPER COOL!

1. President Biden has created the lowest uninsured healthcare rate in US history.

• President Biden has taken several steps to strengthen The Affordable Care Act; as a direct consequence, America now has the lowest uninsured rate in its history at 7.7%, according to the Department of Health and Human Services. Nine million more Americans have health insurance now than did in 2020.
  The Inflation Reduction Act has begun lowering prescription drug costs. The American Rescue Plan’s provisions including funding, vaccine development/distribution, mass mailing of tests, PPE and safely opening schools saved many lives and hospital systems from collapsing nationwide during the worst of the pandemic.
  The Pact Act drastically increases US Veteran Healthcare.
  President Biden also has taken action to prohibit surprise medical bills, stop medical debt from impacting credit scores and to end junk medical insurance plans.

Historic accomplishments regarding US healthcare systems are SUPER COOL

1. The US economy under President Biden is breaking records, and “Bidenomics” is working.

• Under President Biden, the US economy has seen the best labor market for workers in 50+ years, with 27 straight months of under 4% unemployment. We've all seen the regular occurrence of new record highs in the US stock market for two years, with very high US GDP growth and a historic number of new small businesses starting.
  We can largely thank historic legislation signed by President Biden for these successes. The new laws include the American Rescue Plan, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the CHIPS And Sciences Act, the Shipping Reform Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act these news laws helped get America out of crisis level Covid and helped fix the supply chain crisis while fueling hundreds of billions of dollars in “private sector” investments in states across America.
  As global pandemic high inflation has been slowed in the US, we have seen higher wages with the highest wage increases going to the lowest income workers. America is currently experiencing nationwide winning streaks for labor union contract negotiations and unionization drives, plus a US manufacturing renaissance. Median wealth is up 37% from 2020-2022; median wealth for 18-34 year olds in this period more than doubled. President Biden has also banned non-compete agreements, raised the overtime threshold for salaried employees. President Biden also signed new workplace regulation laws like the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, the Ending Forced Arbitration For Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act.
• Biden’s pro-worker/pro-market policies are winning, and while he's at it, President Biden has improved the federal student loan system with the Save Plan, which reforms how student loans are collected and drastically reduces the student debt burden for millions of Americans while he's directly forgiven student loan debt for over 4 million more Americans on top of that along with historic investments in HBCUs.

Making microchips in America again is cool, and this Biden economy with a long way to go yet seems SUPER  COOL!

1. President Biden is making America safer and crime is going down.

• Under President Biden, violent crime and murder rates are on a multi-year downward trend, and property crime was down last year, too. The Bipartisan Safer Communities Act signed by President Biden was the first federal gun safety law in 30 years. It increases background checks and closes “the boyfriend loophole.” It also sends billions in federal funding to states for administration of red flag laws and mental health services.
• President Biden has signed two new hate crimes laws and a reauthorization of the lapsed Violence Against Women Act. Biden formed the first ever national strategy to counter antisemitism, and enabled billions of dollars in new federal funds to be made available for police departments while instituting federal law enforcement reforms at the same time. As President stands for both law and order and police accountability. The D.O.J. has taken several huge steps regarding law enforcement accountability and is restoring the rule of law after Trump's chaotic term.

Several tangible American public safety improvements are SUPER COOL!

1. President Biden is teaching a crisis management master class

• President Biden came into office in the fallout of the January 6 insurrection and in the middle of a crisis-level Covid-19 pandemic that took more than a million American lives, broke the US supply chain and fueled global inflation. He also all but stopped monkeypox dead in its tracks and directly solved a baby formula shortage crisis.
• President Biden also negotiated an end to the arbitrary House Republican US debt ceiling negligence which if trigged would have created a global financial crisis. 

The Biden Harris Administration displaying high caliber crisis management ability is SUPER COOL!

1. On such critical issues as voting rights, women’s reproductive rights, and LGBTQ+ rights, the Biden Administration have been rock solid allies since Day 1.

• President Biden has signed reforms to the Electoral Count Act after the January 6 insurrection, and has been lobbying Congress to pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. The DOJ prioritizes prosecuting J6 criminals, election criminals and lawsuits over voting rights violations. The President has also changed the Democratic Party primary schedule to better reflect the base of the Democratic Party. 
• President Biden has been a loud supporter of LGBTQ+ rights. He’s tied the record for most LGBTQ+ judges while confirmed in half the time, ended the unjust Trump Administration ban on transgender troops in the military and signed the Respect For Marriage Act codifying gay marriage protections into federal law.
• After the Supreme Court’s egregious Dobbs decision cast America into chaos related to women's reproductive care access, the Biden Administration took immediate action on multiple fronts. This included working with state leaders for frontline abortion access, strengthening access for veterans and service members, launching a flurry of lawsuits against red state abortion bans and issuing federal guidance to retail pharmacies and insurance providers. President Biden will veto any Republican national abortion ban and has called on the US Congress to send a bill to his desk codifying Roe V Wade protections for him to sign into law immediately.

4. President Biden is replacing all lead water pipes in America as part of 40,000 new American infrastructure projects, and his administration banned asbestos.
5. President Biden reunited more than 600 migrant families separated by the Trump administration.
6. President Biden issued thousands of cannabis pardons, expanded medical marijuana research and is taking cannabis off Schedule 1 drug status.
7. President Biden’s American Rescue Plan cut child poverty in half and saved hundreds of thousands of American pensions for the length of its implementation.

Harm reduction and breaking the era of “do nothing Govt” is SUPER COOL

In conclusion, President Biden rides a bike and does yoga almost every day. He has instant access to the best healthcare in history that kings and billionaires can’t receive. While nothing is going to change the fact that he is a “well meaning elderly man,” he has definitely shown a ton of vigor, and advanced wisdom comes with  his advanced age. Experience and qualifications matter. There is far too much at stake in this critical election to care about the age of our successful and healthy President who has an expert policy team and excellent Vice President backing him up. 

The man has decades of building deep relationships with American communities and heads of state. The “but his age” onslaught of media coverage really needs to stop because he is the only sane choice this November. I choose the Biden Administration's version of America over the MAGA version of America every single time. I am going to work my ass off to help Biden/Harris and Democrats win again this November and I hope you will join me.
