Basel - Ms. Liz Voss, resident of Basel, has been elected one of the delegates for Democrats Abroad and will be representing them at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago from 19 to 22 August 2024.

Democrats Abroad is the official Democratic Party arm for Americans living outside the United States. The Democratic National Committee (the DNC) gives the organization the status of a state party, which allows its delegates the same voting rights as any other state at the convention.

In addition to rallying behind the Democratic nominees for President and Vice President of the United States, Democrats will gather in Chicago to celebrate their achievements over this past term and chart a path for the future.

“Attending this year’s DNC in my home state of Illinois to cast my vote on behalf of Democrats Abroad will be an honor and a privilege,” says Voss.
