We hope you're okay ❤️
- Trump's withdrawals from the Paris Climate Accord, UN Human Rights Council, UNESCO, and the World Health Organization have received loud pushback.
- High schoolers are staging large walk-outs in support of immigrants.
- The State of New York is refusing to extradite doctors being prosecuted for providing abortion services or medication.
- Trump has already had to sharply reduce proposed tariffs on Canada and Mexico (which experts predict will raise US gas prices at least 15 cents).
- Judges are ruling against Trump's illegal executive orders, including banning birthright citizenship.
- Thousands protested outside the US Treasury Tuesday, calling for Elon Musk's arrest.
With new DNC leadership elected last weekend, and leaders like Rep. Jamie Raskin thinking out of the box by having Judiciary Dems sit with social psychologists to get a new perspective, things are now in high gear. We have the momentum: No one likes that an unelected billionaire is running the country and stealing our personal data, and many of us are furious Trump "hired" this guy.
However you feel, make sure all your leaders know what you want from them. They work for us, and together, we all work for a better world.
One way to push back on Trump's illegal, immoral acts is to help your Democrats Abroad France local chapter, a national caucus, or the national leadership team. DA France is 100% volunteer-run; we elect leaders every two years for a two-year term.
As a leader, you'll help organize social and political activities that promote our Democratic ideals and values. You'll also encourage Americans to register and vote. No previous experience required. Chapter and caucus elections take place in early March; you should've already gotten an email about them. National election are in early April; stay tuned for more info.
2025 is a year to fight and a year to build. In 2026, we must take back one or both houses of Congress. In midterm elections, our votes from abroad are often the margin of victory. Help us make it happen!

Trump's Cabinet nominees are dangerous. They threaten the health and safety of every American, no matter where you live in the world.
It's vital your senators—whether Democrat or Republican—hear from you. MAGA is blowing up their phones, so we must as well. The free hotline above takes you to the US Capitol Switchboard: Just asked to be connected to your senator.
Here's info on three Cabinet nominees likely to be voted on TODAY (Thursday) and Friday:
- France 24 on Health & Human Services pick Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
- Slate on Director of National Intelligence pick Tulsi Gabbard
- Union of Concerned Scientists on Director of the Office of Management and Budget Russell Vought (co-author of Project 2025)
We like this Cabinet tracker from the AP.
PS: Keep this phone number and use it anytime you want to contact your senators or representatives.
