🌟Message from your national officers

Today, March 8, is International Women's Day (IWD) 2022 - a time to celebrate women's achievements, and how far we have come with gender equality.
HOWEVER, it is hard to celebrate with the current challenges to women's rights and with war raging in the world.

DA Japan is here to help ensure your voice is heard!
How do we do that? By making sure eligible voters register and vote.
Besides electing officials, there are a wide array of measures on state ballots - For example:
- abortion - 6 states
- firearms - 10 bills
- raising the minimum wage - 5 states
- education initiatives - 21 states
- taxation - more than 40 bills

Every vote matters.

Our events - see below - aim to do more than share information but to ensure all Americans register and vote in every election!
Besides these workshops, by joining the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on April 9, you can also find out how YOU can impact the 2022 midterms.
That is why we are here - to bring our voices together so our roar is heard.

❤️ From your DA Japan Executive Committee

Sarajean (Chair), Dave (Secretary), Regina(Treasurer)

Have you reregistered to vote/requested a ballot yet this year? Just go to www.votefromabroad.org Help us reach new and more voters by sharing this newsletter with all your American friends!

DID YOU KNOW:

$5 a month - Just 1 bowl of ramen - Can have a big impact for DA and DAJ!

  • Calling all DAJ members 2X per year => $2500 + overhead for the calling platform = $3000 / 30 people @ $100 per year or 60 people @ $5 per month
  • THUS => If just 30 people gave $100 per year or if 60 people contributed $5 per month, we could call all our members 2X this year to get them to vote.

Even if you don't have the time to call, you can help us by making a contribution.
