The “Compact with the American People on Election Reform”, authored by Ben Sandidge (DA-Germany), will be voted on by members for the General Meeting of the DPCA, May 13-15, 2017. The Compact covers all aspects of electoral reform. If approved, the Democratic Party be urged to adopt the “Compact with the American People for Election Reform” and to establish the procedures necessary for distributing it on a regular basis to all Democratic candidates for office as well as officeholders, with the goal of getting as many of them as possible to sign it, without, however, employing any form of coercion or monitoring.
