The SECOND DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY DEBATES will be broadcast live from Detroit on CNN July 30 & 31 from 8P Eastern (July 31 & Aug 1 from 2A France). This will be the 2nd of twelve planned Democratic Primary Debates.

As with the First Democratic Debates, there will be ten candidates taking the debate stage each night. The lineup is as follows:

Tuesday, July 30

Wednesday, July 31

According to CNN: "CNN’s two-night debate will stream live in its entirety, without requiring log-in to a cable provider, exclusively to’s homepage, across mobile devices via CNN’s apps for iOS and Android, and via CNNgo apps for Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire, Chromecast and Android TV.

The full debate nights will be available exclusively the day following the airing on demand via cable/satellite systems, on CNNgo (at on your desktop, smartphone, and tablets, and via CNNgo OTT apps), and CNN mobile apps on iOS and Android."

Additionally, CNN said it will hold a Democratic "Climate Crisis" presidential town hall on Wednesday, Sept. 4 in New York City. The network is inviting those candidates who meet the Democratic National Committee’s polling threshold for the September primary debate, which requires them to reach 2% or more in four approved polls by Aug. 28.

The climate town hall will follow a similar format to the ones it held earlier this year in Austin, Texas, Manchester, N.H., and Washington, D.C.

MSNBC has announced that it is co-hosting the two-day Climate Forum 2020, to be held at Georgetown University Sept. 19-20. All declared presidential candidates from both parties will be invited to speak to young voters about climate change in the town hall-style forum, co-hosted by The Institute of Politics and Public Service at Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy and Our Daily Planet, an independent environmental news organization.

Throughout the entire debate season, chapters across France will be hosting watch events. Check our Debate Watch Page, the DAF Events Calendar, or the events section of our Facebook page for more information.
