Those of you following our storytelling over the past several months won’t be surprised to hear me say they are coming for women.
The plan obviously was to pick off the most vulnerable among us - suggesting transwomen are a direct threat to your daughters on the sports field or in the school bathroom. They played around the edges with Brown and Black women, chipping away our options by cutting out SNAP benefits or affordable day care. They really turned up the heat when they overturned the federal law that gave women the greatest freedom of all - our reproductive rights.
But this raging bonfire of injustice isn’t enough - clearly. They now want us to believe that total equality is not what we actually wanted after all. They would have us believe that:
- Feminism is against our interests and is linked to civilizational decline.
- Feminism has always been a ruse, designed by the radical left to distract you from your calling.
- Feminism and Equal Rights are propaganda.

But we have no fear of the flames, because WE are the fire. At the Global Women’s Caucus, we are bringing our own heat. It’s not just 50 years they want to roll back; it’s more than 100. They want to convince women not just that our place is in the home, but that somehow feminism has taken American life down a terrible, dark road. They say the reason we should take away women’s right to vote is because too many of us vote for things that aren’t good for us, the family, for the community, for God, or for the sanctity of life itself. They want to keep us in the dark. We say feminism is the light.

We are tired of hearing about the epidemic of male loneliness. We don’t care about looksmaxxing or its partner masculinism, Andrew Tate or Clavicular or what Scott Galloway has to say about any of it. We want to talk about the propaganda behind the policy, like Trad Wives and the government website moms.gov. We want to talk about Christian Nationalists’ true agenda to whitewash our country and the scary document called Saving America by Saving the Family. We want to talk about the programs they are cutting to strip away women’s options and freedom. We want to talk about the Epstein Files.
We especially want to talk about the Patriarchy - or more pointedly, patriarchal systems. The patriarchy they so desperately want to bolster is not just about keeping women pregnant and at home. It built our entire world. Where have those systems have taken us? A healthcare system that profits from sickness. An economy that values production industries over care and service. A political culture built on dominance and fear. A planet being cooked because profit matters more than people. A global, rapey culture. Even the American story - our history - centers the achievements of men.
Over the next three months we are going to make some noise. We hope that you will join us in the conversation. We will be all over social media, across all platforms. Follow us and share your thoughts. And maybe - just maybe - we will convince some elected officials and people who want to represent us and the media and the Democratic Party writ large to start talking about it too.
None of this will happen if we don’t show up and vote. Step one is to request your 2026 ballot at Vote From Abroad. Your ballot will drop in your inbox on September 19th. It’s time to get familiar with the rules of ballot return. I vote in Oregon, so I can return my ballot via email. But 20 states require you to return your ballot via postal mail, and there are plenty of opportunities for delays. This is why you need to get informed and make sure you have a plan to ensure your vote is counted.
This is not the year to postpone or procrastinate. Learn your state’s rules and deadlines at Vote From Abroad.
We will be here to assist you every step of the way. Please do not sit this one out. We are in this together, ready to fight fire with fire.
We are women. We’ve totally got this.
Nolite te bastardes carborundorum.
In solidarity,
Sally DeSipio

Request Your 2026 Ballot. Yes. We. Can.
You must request your ballot each year as an overseas voter. Make sure you are registered and haven’t been purged. You can do both at Vote From Abroad.
While you’re there, check how you return your ballot. See if your state allows you to email or fax your ballot. 20 states require you to return your ballot by postal mail - which means you can’t procrastinate this year.
This site has all the information you need to vote.
Yes. We. Vote. GWC Scavenger Hunts
You know what’s as important as requesting your 2026 ballot? Well, nothing, but you know what’s more fun? Gamifying it.
Taking inspiration from the Mamdani campaign, the Global Women’s Caucus (GWC) is hosting a unique investigative campaign series across cities where Americans live and work and vote from a distance. YES WE VOTE is a team scavenger hunt that uses the streets, squares, and stories of each city to make the case for why your ballot matters.
The next scheduled events will be held in Europe as celebrations of these cities’ rich cultural and historical heritages - often tales of fascism or tyranny boldly met with resistance. To qualify, participants only need to have requested their 2026 ballot. If you haven’t yet or don't know how, we will have trained volunteers on hand to help you through it.
Please RSVP today or [email protected] if you’d like to join the organizing team in your town.

I can guarantee you one thing: joining our team of amazing women is a great way to channel your anger, your frustration and your anxiety. We have so many creative ideas to amplify our core message: voting is the most powerful tool we have. Our team is cross-generational and spread across multiple continents. We are only bound by our energy and our ideas. Volunteer today!
Specifically we are seeking:
-
- Content Creators: you don’t need to start from scratch. We’ve turned many a doom-scroller into a content creator, helping to amplify our story.
- Video editors: you don’t want to be on camera but know your way around a good edit? We can definitely put those skills to use.
- Graphic Designers: We love creative people and do not take you for granted. If you know your way around Canva, please join our comms team.
- Get Out The Vote skills: it’s go time. In August, DA launches a global phone-banking campaign which requires trained volunteers. We also need folks trained in helping people request their ballots - some states require a bit of jujitsu. MOST important - we need volunteers to get trained in ballot return. This is critically important. Sign up for trainings here. More will be added, so if these don’t work, check back.
