Support for U.S. Military, SOFA, DoD employees, and their families in Japan
All U.S. citizens, 18-years or older, have the right to vote by secret ballot in U.S. elections. Voting enables you to chose representatives who will push for the direction you want to see in the U.S.
Democrats Abroad has a series of caucuses focused on the issues of particular groups of our members. The Global Veterans and Military Families Caucus (Click on the GVMF logo to go to the caucus page) promotes the interests of these groups within Democrats Abroad and the larger Democratic Party. 
Democrats Abroad Japan is committed to serving the interests of all our members, and by some estimates, up to two thirds of the adult U.S. citizens in Japan are Active Duty, SOFA civilians, or their dependents.

One issue of particular concern is healthcare in Japan for all members of the military-related community.
