DACN Annual General Meeting 2025
This is the Annual General Meeting …not a meeting for minutes, but for a movement. They want you distracted. They want you divided. But we’re not here for the rerun. We’re rising - organized, global, unafraid |
Democrats Abroad China's annual meeting, election, and No Kings protest start at noon on June 14, with a second date of June 21, where we will train members. This meeting is your chance to meet other Americans, hear from candidates, and vote on our leadership for the next two years. You will also be able to raise your hand to lead or assist with various aspects of the work. We are the Democratic Party; it's time to take ownership and change the game.
Agenda:
We have a packed agenda! Leadership Board reports kick the meeting off. Rules and Bylaws amendments were proposed. The R&B Committee will present recommendations before members vote on proposals. Next, all Leadership Board positions are up for election. According to the rules, all verified DACN members seeking to run from the floor must be present on the call and be nominated during the first ballot. Find roles and responsibilities outlined in the DACN Bylaws. Meet announced candidates. After elections, the newly elected Chair presides over the meeting, and we open the floor to discussion and take action.
How To Vote
Robert's Rules of Order are used during Democrats Abroad meetings. To cast your ballot, you will need your Democrats Abroad ID number. Please come prepared with your unique Democrats Abroad ID, which can be found in recent emails or by logging into your account: democratsabroad.org/login.

We Are The Change That We Seek.
This is our time, we are the ones, and the work starts now.
DACN volunteers reached roughly 10,000 Americans in China before November 7, 2024. Imagine what we can do with 30 committed volunteers. With 50. With 100.
Step up. Speak up. Show up. Let’s do this together. |
