23 September Consulate Ballot Drop Meetup - Joburg

 

Vote Early. Get it done - before the Heritage Day long weekend! 

If you vote in a "mail-in" state, you need to either make use of the US Consulate's Diplomatic Pouch service or send by courier. Overseas ballots come out September 19th and this year its essential to vote right away! Take no chances. 

Let's meet up near the Consulate in Joburg (Sandton) for coffee, a chat and camaraderie - and most importantly to drop off our ballots and send them on their way! 

This is casual, you can pop in for a few minutes before heading to the Consulate or come earlier and have lunch. We can walk over together just before the 15:00 drop-off window. RSVPs are encouraged so we know to expect you, but not necessary.

IMPORTANT - LIMITED CONSULATE HOURS - The US Consulate in Joburg has very limited drop-off hours, just one hour a day, Monday-Thursday 15:00-16:00. Let's not let that stop us!

We strongly suggest the deadline of 29 September for the diplomatic pouch as it can take several weeks.
