Democrats Abroad advocates for tax fairness for Americans abroad, but can't provide individual tax advice. It's a common concern, so we're happy that Monique Luegger, EA, (a member and volunteer) is offering her expertise in an online Info Session: U.S. Taxes While Living Abroad for our members tomorrow on May 13, 2020.
You'll learn more about what you need to do as an American citizen or permanent resident living abroad. To support our voter outreach, we ask that each attendee contribute by making 20 phone calls in our current phone campaign, or a donating 10€. There are a few spots left!

Phone banking is an extremely important tool for Democrats Abroad to reach voters abroad and help them request absentee ballots. In 2020, we're relying on phone banking even more than usual, due to the constraints on in-person outreach. For the Global Presidential Primary, 61 phone bankers in Germany made over 3500 calls, leading to the 2nd highest turnout in Democrats Abroad!

Support Phone Banking: Calling & Donating
You can sign up to phonebank! It’s a simple task you can do from the comforts of your own home (perfect social distancing option). Volunteers report friendly & enjoyable interactions with our members. Training sessions below.
The tool for making calls (CallHub) is really easy to use, but also an expense for Democrats Abroad. Please consider donating to support phone banking. Every little bit helps, and goes a long way: $10 covers a volunteer calling 40 voters! Postcard Coloring Campaign
Get out the vote with personally colored postcards. We're targeting voters living abroad who vote in key battleground states. Request 10 or more postcards, color them, write a short message, and send them back to us within 3 weeks. We'll address, stamp, and send them on to potential voters. ► Join the postcard campaign 📬
Attend EMEA Regional Convention
This Saturday, Democrats Abroad electors in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region will meet virtually to elect one of Democrats Abroad's DNC members (through 2024), 3 Democratic National Convention delegates for Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders each, and platform committee members. U.S. citizens and especially members of Democrats Abroad are very welcome to observe the proceedings! ►Find out more
