GWC: HER NEXT - A career event!

The GWC had an exciting opportunity for young career-oriented women on October 11th 12-2 PM ET / 6-8 PM CET.
Ten small breakout rooms. Ten women who've each built genuinely wild, singular careers. Real conversation on the stuff that actually matters – imposter syndrome, burnout, negotiating salary, knowing when to quit, figuring out what to do with a degree once you have it, and a bunch more. No formal dais or scripted Q&A. Just you, a small group, and someone who's actually been where you're trying to go and genuinely wants to show up for you.

You'll rotate through four sessions over the course of the night: three career-focused breakouts of your choosing, plus one Civic Engagement session built around voter registration and ballot return – because your paycheck and your ballot are more connected than you've probably been told.

Who’s going to be there?
The director of Twilight. A marketing exec from Nike. The former CMO of MTV. A cybersecurity expert who will make you rethink everything you thought you knew about that career track. And that's just the start – the rest of the lineup is just as good, and honestly, we can't wait for you to meet them.

There’s more. You're not just getting one conversation and a business card. You will have the opportunity for two additional one-on-ones – extra time with one of these women or many others who want to support you and your career path and to dig into whatever's actually on your mind. Career pivot you're scared to make? Salary number you don't know how to say out loud? How to start your own business? This is your shot to ask someone who's actually lived it.

One more thing. The same forces that shape your career – pay, hiring, parental leave, who gets protected and who doesn't – are decided by people you vote for. So we're building that into the night too. Come registered to vote, leave registered and get counsel on how to return your ballot.
