Florida Ballots are Arriving

With Florida ballots sent out last week, we’re getting questions about the races and amendments on the ballot. Our choices can impact our communities and state. We urge you to support Democratic candidates who prioritize the values and issues that matter most to Floridians. Here is our advice:

Vote Democratic on all partisan races, starting of course with:
- Kamala Harris / Tim Walz for President / V.P.
- Debbie Muscarcel-Powell for US Senate, and
- Your US Representative

If on your ballot, vote Democratic on state legislative races to help break the Republican super-majority, and all the way down the ballot

Vote NO on retention of the two Supreme Court Justices. For all other non-partisan races, check your county Democratic Party's voter guide, or use one of the reference sites listed below
On Constitutional Amendments, vote YES on Amendments 3 and 4, and NO on 1, 2, 5, and 6.

Please note that your ballot may be limited to federal elections by your local elections office based on how you answered the question on your FPCA regarding your intent to return.

If you haven't registered or requested your ballot yet, please do that right away at Vote From Abroad!

The deadline for new registrations is 7 October 2024, to be able to vote in the Nov 2024 General Election.
The deadline to request a ballot if you're already registered:
- As an overseas voter, you are allowed to request your overseas ballot through election day.
- As a practical matter, counties need some time to process your FPCA and to send you your ballot. If you have not requested your ballot by at least 25 October, please submit your FPCA ballot request along with a federal backup ballot.
