Florida - Vote Now in the August 18 Primary!


It’s time to flex those democracy muscles for Florida! The FL Primary Election is on Tuesday, August 18, so it’s TIME to send back your ballot to make your voice heard and your VOTE count! 

 

 

These important elections will determine the winners of school board races and other local offices. They will also determine the Democratic nominees for the U.S. Senate, U.S. House, Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, Treasurer, and State Legislature. The winners will face the Republican nominees in the November 3 General election.

Ballots started going out on July 2  – look for it in your email! Cast your vote now so we have the best candidates in place for each of these crucial elections.

Don’t have your ballot yet?

👉 Request your ballot NOW (and register to vote if needed) at VoteFromAbroad.org (VFA). You have until August 6 at 5pm local time to send in your ballot request form (or August 18 if you provide a supplemental declaration.)

  • If you’re registering to vote, your form must be sent by postal mail and must be postmarked by July 20.

If you send in your ballot request now, you’ll receive a ballot for ALL elections in 2026, including the November 3 General election. Look at you, being so ahead of the game! 💪

  • Be sure to request your ballot be sent to you by email. Don’t let the USPS mess with your right to vote. And don’t forget to check your spam folder. 
  • Please send back your ballot as soon as you can! Don’t delay – you can return your ballot by Fax or E-Fax (email-to-fax), but it must be received in Florida by August 18, at 7pm local time. For information on how to send an e-fax, click here
