GBC Beyond the Ballot: Environmental Justice

Join the Global Black Caucus for the third in our series of issues affecting our community and how we vote on them. Candidates seeking our votes must educate themselves and respond to these issues. This series helps us flex and build our advocacy muscles on the challenges impacting our lives and the lives of folks back home.

On October 11, we’ll turn to environmental justtice, a huge topic. We’ll talk about:

• Clean water and air

• Redlining and zoning

• Data centers

Then we’ll put all that into action.

You’ll walk away with direct advocacy practice, a framework for evaluating which elected official impacts a certain policy, and a resource sheet for further exploration. It’s a true power hour!
