M.B. Dallocchio is a U.S. Army combat veteran, published author, licensed social worker, professional artist, and much more. Additionally, she is a member of Democrats Abroad Italy and Democrats Abroad’s Global Veterans and Military Families Caucus.
According to the artist, the following piece “depicts two women warriors observing a sexist pin-up poster that appears to show support for male service members, but not women.” The work was completed with acrylic paints on canvas. M.B.’s experience in Iraq has made its way into much of her artwork, such as the “Women Warriors and the Pinup” piece shown below.
