The Veterans and Military Families Caucus of DA France has the honor, pleasure, and privilege of inviting you to a hybrid event to talk with

 Lieutenant Colonel David Ashcraft

 Liaison officer for the US Army’s Training and Doctrine Command to the French Army at the Ecole Militaire in Paris, France 

on the Role and Experiences of a Foreign Area Officer (FAO) of the US Army and Joint Level of Staff

Cocktail-dinatoire will be served before and after the presentation. 

This will be a hybrid event: In person and via Zoom (Zoom details provided upon RSVP)

Suggested minimum contribution: 

$20 (in-person event)

$5 (online event) 

Minimum contribution requested: All proceeds will go to helping Democrats Abroad France Get Out the Vote in 2024 among Americans living in France, as well as financing the wreaths that the DA France Veterans and Military Families’ Caucus lays on Memorial Day and Veterans’ Day at the American battle monuments and cemeteries in France. 

David Ashcraft is a graduate of Ohio State and Yale University and has served at West Point, the Pentagon as well as in Iraq and Afghanistan. At the DoD, he initially served as a branch chief in the Europe and Eurasia Regional Center (EERC), and then deployed to Israel, where he served as the Liaison Officer to the Government of Israel for the United States Security Coordinator.  Even though Russian is his second foreign language after French, he was selected to serve as the Chief of the Washington-Moscow Direct Communication Link (MOLINK). In the Summer of 2021, following his service at the Pentagon, he was selected to serve as the Liaison officer for the United States Army’s Training and Doctrine Command to the French Army at the Ecole Militaire in Paris, France. In addition to his duties in France, he deployed to Germany in Spring 2022 to serve as the Deputy Director of the Russia Deconfliction Cell.
