Kia ora (Hello) I'm James A. Winston II, serving as the Chair of Democrats Abroad NZ (DANZ). My dedication to public service and politics fuels my passion. Currently in my first term, I aim to foster DANZ's growth by encouraging fellow expats to register for all elections, volunteer for their country party, and support the election of Democrats at every level. 

In my professional life, I work as a Democracy Advisor for the Waikato Regional Council (WRC) here in Aotearoa (New Zealand). Prior to relocating from Houston, TX (Harris County) in 2019, I held roles as a Precinct Chair, Presiding Judge, and Deputy Voter Registrar.
