La Lucha Continúa with special guest Rachel Bitecofer

Political scientist Rachel Bitecofer made a name for herself as an election analyst who saw the 2018 blue wave coming long before anyone else. On July 1 of that year, she presciently predicted a 42-seat gain for Democrats — a near-perfect call, when others still envisioned smaller gains. At the same time, she warned that the landscape would be very difficult for Democrats in 2022, based on the same understanding of negative partisanship and the ways the electorate has changed. Now at the head of the PAC she founded, Strike PAC, Ms. Bitecofer argues that the Democrats must launch a new "brand offensive" against Republicans.

Rachel Bitecofer has graciously agreed to talk to Democrats Abroad about the 2022 elections and how turnout by overseas voters has the potential to matter this year more than ever.
