La Lucha Continúa, with special guest Suzanne Berger

Our guest this time on La Lucha Continúa will be Suzanne Berger, Chair of the Westchester County Democratic Committee.

Suzanne Berger grew up in Queens, where her dad—a refugee from Europe who knew the importance of a functioning democracy—was a member of the local Democratic Club. Her first taste of politics was going door-to-door with him, gathering signatures on a petition.

Suzanne attended New York City public schools and graduated from Stuyvesant High School as part of the third class of women admitted to that previously all-male school. She graduated from Barnard College with a degree in Economics, and from Fordham Law School. She is a practicing lawyer and has been litigator at a Manhattan law firm for more than 30 years. On a pro bono basis, she has handled numerous election law cases for Democratic candidates and elected officials.

Suzanne will speak to us about organizing and getting out the vote for Democrats on the local level.
