Phonebanking Meetup (Joburg)
DASA volunteers Caroline Hopkins and Tanya Cruz Teller will be hosting a Phonebanking Meetup on Saturday, 8 October!
Have you been reluctant to phonebank because it seems daunting or lonely? It doesn’t have to be! Come join Tanya and Caroline for a "Get Your Ballot In Phonebanking Meet Up" on Saturday, 8 October, 9am-12:30pm at Café One in Hyde Park. Café One has good coffee, food and wifi, with plenty of seating.
You’ll do the Phonebanking training ahead of time (see the link below) and then Caroline and Tanya will be on hand to help guide you as you get started. Imagine a whole cafe buzzing with DASA volunteers getting out the vote! Come for the whole time or come for an hour. Every call matters!
Can’t make it to Café One on the 8th but interested in Phonebanking? Start with the training and participate virtually that morning by making calls from home or make calls any time!
The Democrats Abroad CallHub system streamlines the process with all the info and script material you’ll need. Your call could be just the motivation someone needs to vote!

Join volunteers around the world making calls to remind and encourage voters to request their ballots and get ready to vote. There is no cost to you. Calling campaigns are focused on the 60,000 members who vote in crucial battleground states and congressional districts.
