We have several volunteer opportunities, at all levels of involvement, with the GBC.
Country Representatives
- Disseminate information
- Help coordinate events in your country
- Periodically report to the steering committee
- Other duties as required
Event Developers/Coordinators
- Developing events for Democrats Abroad for special days, holidays and in response to current events.
- Ensuring the information is disseminated about and helping coordinate events worldwide.
Social Media Team
- Activities include finding content to post, creating event posts, monitoring social media
- Assisting in the preparation of online campaigns, and answering direct messages
- Creating original content for our website and social media
- Other activities as required
Communications/Writing Team
- Create and edit the GBC newsletter
- Draft issue statements
- Draft messages to people/organizations external to Democrats Abroad
- Creating original content for our website and social media
- Other activities as required
Research Team
- Researching important dates/noteworthy events in History and providing a monthly report of the important dates
- Finding information for special dates/noteworthy events like Black History Month, Women’s History Month, etc.
- Finding interesting speakers for webinars, books and other media relevant to the GBC
- Other activities as required
