Cherryl Martin
UK Secretary
Cherryl Martin is Democrats Abroad's UK Secretary for 2024-2025. Cherryl hails from New York and has been a member of Democrats Abroad for more than a decade. Active in both the Women's and LGBTQ+ Caucuses, she particularly enjoys fundraising and event management.
As for career, Cherryl is a global marketing and digital transformation expert. She's led US, UK and EMEA operations for FTSE 100 finance, media and technology companies such as Barclays, Pearson, Viacom and Marsh.
A graduate of Yale University with postgraduate credentials in Marketing and Advertising from NYU, Cherryl was named a Fellow of the Institute of Data and Marketing (The IDM) in 2017.
