Help lead Democrats Abroad UK!
There are lots of roles available:
- Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer,
- Executive Committee (8 seats)
- DPCA voting members (22 seats), and non-voting members (also 22 seats).
- Also, the Council (40 seats). (The DPCA is the Democratic Party Committee Abroad.)

To run for any of these roles, you must be a member of DAUK by Friday, January 31st.
Nominations are due on Saturday, February 1st.
You need to submit a very short nomination form for yourself or someone you’d like to nominate.
It’s quick and easy and is due by 11:59pm February 1st. Get the nomination form at the link below.
Talk to your friends and encourage them to vote in the election.
Remind them that in order to vote, they have to be registered as a member of DAUK by February 15th.
Then get ready for a bit of campaigning in March. Candidate names and statements will be published and we’ll host 4 hustings events, provisionally planned for Tuesday and Thursday evenings, where the candidates can tell the voters a bit about themselves and take questions.
Voters have to request their ballots by March 22nd.
Then on Saturday, April 12th, we’ll meet at a hall in central London to announce the results. You can be there in person or join remotely.
There’s lots to do! Whether you’re interested in helping to:
- organise US voter registration
- run community building events like Comedy Night (this year on May 7th!), or
- support the Women’s Caucus, Young Democrats, Black Caucus, or the DAUK Taxation Task Force.
Did I mention our annual picnic with hundreds of DAUK members in central London (this year on June 30th)?
