GOTV Weekly Action Call

Join the Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) team for our weekly action Zoom call.

Voting is not the only civic duty. We need to let our legislators know what actions we want them to take, whether they are Republican or Democratic. They need to hear directly from their constituents. If they have done something good, let them know that, too. Make it a habit to be an active citizen.

We meet on Mondays at 5 pm to help members do this. We make an example call and show people how to use 5Calls.org, a website/app that makes it really easy to provide phone numbers and scripts.

Join the Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) team for our monthly lunchtime walk’n’talk - this month in Hyde Park (meet near Speaker’s Corner).

Friday, May 9, 2025, from 12pm to 1pm.

As a reminder, we’ve started these walk’n’talks inspired by the Paris chapter of DA France where they do a weekly walk and talk. We will pound the pavement while we pound out and talk out the angst we feel in this current climate and build a community of action.

Our hope is those working in Central London can join us during their lunch break. (It’s a Friday!) We will schedule the walk to last an hour.

Be a Democracy Activist - Train to Register Abroad Voters!

The GOTV team is inviting all members of DAUK to learn or refresh voter registration skills on Sunday May 11 from 3 to 5 pm at a central London address. 

2025 IS an election year. 

Virginia, New Jersey and Pennsylvania have key elections in the fall, and there are many US citizens from those states here in the UK who will need our help to vote from abroad.

You’ll be able to put your skills to work at our most popular study abroad programs and international schools from this August (We don’t think the SAVE Act will pass!) AND with every US citizen in the UK from January 2026, to get out the vote for the midterm elections.
