HANDS OFF! Mass Mobilization, Saturday, April 5

DAUK’s newly appointed coordinator of 1st Amendment Events, Portia Kamons, invites members to participate in the first major day of action confronting the Trump administration.   

Events are planned in all 50 states. American citizens outside the USA have launched international events in solidarity.

A London rally will take place in Trafalgar Square from 3-5pm.

Portia will share event-specific instructions, answer event-specific questions, and the precise location for our meeting place on the day. We hope for a large turnout of enthusiastic members.

Please note, as members of Democrats Abroad, we are restricted from commenting on international affairs, so there will be no DA branding at the event, but you are encouraged to bring homemade signs that focus on what we stand for, such as democracy, human rights and the rule of law.  

With these coordinated actions at home and around the world, we further strengthen the community building needed to win back Congress in 2026 and the White House in 2028.
