Super Tuesday’s curtain rises at Amsterdam's Boom Chicago Theater as U.S. voters abroad set the stage for the Democratic National Convention in Chicago

U.S. voters living abroad will cast this Super Tuesday’s first ballots, as voting centers open globally on March 5th.

“Voting in-person in the primary is exciting for lots of our members. For many of us, it’s the one chance we’ll have to cast our vote in a ballot box during this critical election year,” explained Martha McDevitt-Pugh, International Chair, Democrats Abroad.

McDevitt-Pugh will vote in person in the Netherlands this Tuesday, at a voting center located at Boom Chicago, the improv theater in downtown Amsterdam where Seth Meyers, from Late Night with Seth Meyers, got his start.

“We’re thrilled to be setting the stage for the Chicago Democratic National Convention this August when Democrats from abroad and in the U.S. will come together to nominate our Presidential candidate.

Starting on Super Tuesday, March 5th, and running until March 12th, Democrats Abroad will run over 100 voting centers in 45 countries around the world.

“We also offer remote voting, which helps our voters who can’t reach our voting centers and ensures that every Democrat living outside the US has the same chance to participate, regardless of where they live.”
