Democrats Abroad France hosted a special event with international investment expert Robert Levitt, CFA, who discussed the basics of investing for Americans living in France.
Because of high demand, we are making the zoom recording and presentation slides of this event available for a $10 donation.
The aim of this seminar is to educate you on your investment options and commonly asked tax questions such as:
- What are the investment options for a U.S. citizen who is a resident in France?
- How does the US France Tax Treaty impact my investment options and strategies?
- What is the problem with PFICs and should I avoid them?
- Is it possible for a US citizen to use French investment products, such as a PEA or Assurance Vie?
- Can I invest in US ETFs or US Mutual Funds?
This is for you if:

- you just moved to France from the US and you're unsure of how your investment strategy should change.
