Solidarity Sundays: Democracy is Action

If you have one to two hours a week, we have a democracy that could use your help. We need to get ballots into the hands of every eligible overseas voter. Join Solidarity Sundays July 26th and learn to phone bank. Attend our training in-person, or remotely if you‘re outside Vienna. In two hours, we‘ll show you what to do, and you‘ll make a few calls to try out what you‘ve learned.

You‘ve phonebanked in the past? This is a great way to refresh your skills. A phonebanking newbie? You‘ll love the feeling when a voter says "thank you for your call, I‘ll register right away!"

Bring your laptop or Android Tablet + earphones with a mic

June was a dark month for our democracy: Trump filled more federal judge vacancies than any president in our history — young ones and extremely conservative. If he prevails in November, he‘ll fill up to three vacancies on the Supreme Court. In the middle of a pandemic, his administration asked the Supreme Court to eliminate the ACA. The Deptartment of Health and Human Services announced they undercounted the number of children in custody by over 1,000. People filled the streets around the country demanding an end to police violence — and our President threatened them with more violence. Wherever GOP politicians are in power, they are fighting to keep Democrats from voting. Take action and help save our Democracy!
