To mark Women’s History Month, this special free one-hour online talk taking place next week celebrates a newly acquired portrait of political leader, Millicent Garrett Fawcett.

This portrait has not been seen in public for almost 50 years and now has a permanent public home at UK Parliament.

In the talk we explore suffragism’s relationship with the creative arts, with a focus on the life and works of Dame Millicent Fawcett and the artist Annie Swynnerton.
