Mark your calendars! It's debate time again

Join us on Wednesday, October 2 for a screening (at a civilized hour) of the Vice Presidential Debate. Cheer for your favorite candidate and boo for that other cat-hating guy. VP Bingo will be on offer!

This is a no-host event but some snacks will be available for all to share.

It is also intended as a child friendly event, unless JD loses control!!

This should be good viewing. Walz' rural working-class values contrast perfectly with the faux-hillbilly persona of JD Vance, a grifter who used his background to sell a book and abandoned his roots the minute they became inconvenient.

And make no mistake, in addition to his radical views on policy, Vance holds an array of positions on structural issues that run directly counter to fundamental American values like democracy and the rule of law.

Events like a debate are a time for us to gauge candidates and platforms, but also an opportunity to discuss why Democrats are making the better offer. Let's gather and remind ourselves why this election is critical and just how much our voices and votes matter.
