Welcome to Democrats Abroad Yucatán!
We are headquartered in Mérida. But no matter where you live on the Yucatán Peninsula, we welcome you to our chapter.
Our members are engaged, committed U.S. citizens, and we are proud to support them. Our board of directors and officers are committed to giving Democrats living on the Yucatán Peninsula a voice in U.S. politics. To keep them informed. And to help them exercise their right to vote.
We assist U.S. citizens with voter registration and help them understand the benefits of registering and casting a ballot - while complying with the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA). We've helped many voters navigate the confusing maze of state laws governing how to return absentee ballots nationwide. When we say we're here to make voting as easy as the law allows, we mean it!
We can't wait to welcome you as a new member and help you vote for the government our country and your family deserve. Follow us on social media for our roster of social events and exciting volunteer opportunities. We thrive because of our members' enthusiasm. And although we live in the glorious Yucatán Peninsula, we are all patriots who want our country to be the best nation it can be.
