Ronny Rubin

Ronny was born and raised in the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area and graduated from Emory University, Atlanta with a BA in Political Science.  During his senior year, Ronny served as a student volunteer in Jimmy Carter's “Peanut Brigade” and campaigned with the team in a couple of the primary states.  

Ronny spent the majority of his young adult years in California (16 in Los Angeles, 3 in San Diego + 3 stints in San Francisco) where he built a career in International Marketing and Business Development within the media/entertainment industry including senior positions with Disney, Sony Pictures and Twentieth Century Fox International.  In 1993, he obtained his MBA in International Business from the University of Southern California. 

In addition to time spent stateside, Ronny lived and worked in London during 3 years and spent another 20 years in Paris FRANCE where he acquired dual citizenship and was an active participant in Democrats Abroad France.  

More recently, Ronny taught at several Paris area business schools and served as Director International Development for Paris based NGO, Reporters Without Borders.  

During his past 4 years in Brazil, Ronny served as DABR Chair from 2021-2022.  Now with his return to France, Nice this time, Ronny is looking to stay involved in Democratic party politics as an active member within DAF - Riviera chapter.

Born/raised on the East Coast, built career in the West. Been global ever since. US/EU double nationality. International Biz Dev media/IP exec., now in Nice!
