Bordeaux Dinner-Speaker Event with former Congressman Jim McDermott
DINNER WITH FORMER U.S. CONGRESSMAN JIM MCDERMOTT
Please join Democrats Abroad Bordeaux for a very special dinner/speaker event with Jim McDermott, former United States Congressman from Seattle. Jim will speak with us about his 28 years in the U.S. House of Representatives (1988 to 2017), and his thoughts on the upcoming Midterm elections.
He will also speak about his book Money, Love & Power: A Guide to Understanding Congress (copies will be available for purchase, and book proceeds go to the James McDermott Endowed Scholarship in support of Seattle University’s Fostering Scholars program).
When: THURSDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2022, 6:30-11:00 pm
Where: Brasserie l’Orléans, central Bordeaux.
Price: $36 dollars (please note that the price is in dollars, following DA donation policy). The price includes a cocktail, full 3-course menu, wine and coffee or tea. See menu details below.
