Women’s right are under attack in America, body autonomy no longer exists, and minorities are facing ongoing discrimination; these issues inspired me to get involved in Democrats Abroad to do everything I can to support women and inclusion. 
 
My husband and I immigrated to Porto in July, 2022 from Phoenix, AZ where we had been living and working for 25 years. I retired from Fortune 100 Corporate America and spend my time learning Portuguese, exploring Europe, and practicing abstract art. I bring decades of project/people management (focusing on diversity and inclusion) and organizational development to my role as the Porto DA cochair. I feel passionately that the 2024 election is the most pivotal in our nations history and therefore we must GOTV.
