Melbourne, Australia—Michael Ramos, Chair of the Democrats Abroad (DA) Global Veterans and Military Families (VMF) Caucus, released the following statement on the current in-formation efforts regarding the creation of a DA Spain VMF Caucus:
“It is truly wonderful to see the efforts put forth by the DA members in Spain who are currently organizing efforts and mobilizing potential VMF members. With Morón Air Base, Naval Station Rota and other places where U.S. service members and other military-affiliated individuals are located, VMF will have excellent opportunities to assist with get-out-the-vote efforts for military voters stationed at those locations. Along with the VMF Caucuses of DA France and DA Germany, the Global VMF Caucus hopes to soon welcome the VMF Caucus of DA Spain with open arms.”
All DA members living in Spain are encouraged to register your interest by joining the in-formation DA Spain VMF Caucus by contacting DA Spain's organizers in addition to registering your volunteering availability.
___________
U.S. citizens living abroad, both civilian and military, are highly encouraged to and for any upcoming elections in your home voting state that you are eligible to vote in.
The VMF Caucus, proudly consisting of veterans, military family members, and strong allies of veterans and military family causes, has a membership of approximately 1,300 members located in dozens of countries.
