Democrats Abroad Sweden Chair, Alex Lange, addresses the rallySimultaneously with chapters in Western Sweden and Skåne, on Saturday, Aug 26th, we held a rally to unite against hate in Stockholm to commemorate the victims of white supremacist violence in Charlottesville, VA, and to stand up and send a clear signal that hate has no place in America.
More than 50 attendees came in Stockholm alone, and across Sweden more than 100 showed up to stand against hatred while President Trump is failing to do the same.
Thank you to all who attended, and to all the speakers, poetry performers, and musical contributions who made this event a powerful experience for all involved.
