The 2024 Americas Regional Convention will commence sharply at 3:00 PM EDT (1:00 PM Costa Rica) on Friday, 30 May 2024.

WHEN: 3:00 PM EDT (1:00 PM Costa Rica time) on Friday, 30 May 2024. The online room opens one hour prior.

CONVENTION BUSINESS: Election of Americas 2024-2028 Democratic National Committee Member; Election of 2024 Democratic National Convention Americas Delegates; Election of Americas Global Convention Platform Committee Members.

The regional convention involves four (4) major tasks and a few procedural reports. All candidates, electors, and observers will have the opportunity to participate in the proceedings online. The 2024 regional convention involves one Presidential Preference Group (PPG). 

All eligible electors must use the elector opt-in form to RSVP for the 2024 Americas Regional Convention.

Candidates have already registered (opted-in) for the 2024 Americas Regional Convention.

PLEASE BE SURE TO RSVP BELOW FOR IN-PERSON OR ONLINE ATTENDANCE. WebEx details are provided in the auto-response.

U.S. citizens and especially members of Democrats Abroad are very welcome to observe the proceedings of the 2024 Americas Regional Convention. Non-U.S.-citizens are also welcome to attend. If you are not a U.S. Citizen, contact the International Secretary to make arrangements: [email protected]
