It has been a fantastic election to be a PA Democrat! In the recent elections on Tuesday, 7 November 2023, Democrats delivered wins up and down the ballot, including:
- A sweep of all four statewide judicial races, including the state Supreme Court which now has a balance of 5-2 in favor of Democrats.
- A win by Democrat Cherelle Parker for mayor of Philadelphia, making her the first woman and fourth Black person to hold the office in the city's 341-year history.
- A Democratic sweep of multiple school board races across the state that had gained national attention for the extremism of the Republican candidates, including Central Bucks, Pennridge and State College.
- Democrat Sara Innamorato edging out her Republican opponent in a close race for Allegheny County Executive.
