On Tuesday evening, March 15th at 19:30 we will hold the Annual General Meeting of Democrats Abroad Israel and the Palestinian Territories, via Zoom. We are delighted to have 2 prominent journalists as our special guest speakers - Alison Kaplan Sommer and Bradley Burston.
Allison Kaplan Sommer is a senior writer and columnist for Haaretz. She co-hosts the Promised Podcast and the Haaretz Weekend Podcast. She made aliyah from Rhode Island, the bluest state in the U.S.
Bradley Burston, Haaretz columnist has lived in Israel since 1976, and helped to found Kibbutz Gezer. He has worked as a correspondent for the Jerusalem Post, Reuters and Haaretz, covering Gaza, the 1991 Gulf War, the Israel-Arab peace talks in the mid 1990s, and more. In 2006, he received the Eliav-Sartawi Award for Mideast Journalism at the UN.
We will also report on the work of DA Israel this past year, and the work ahead of us in the 2022 midterm elections.
