Democrats Abroad asks the IRS to fix glitches in CARES Act aid resources

Democrats Abroad continues to field hundreds of messages a day from Americans abroad struggling to access CARES Act aid.  The online tools published by the IRS to facilitate and expedite the payment of economic stimulus payments to U.S. citizens suffering financially during the coronovirus pandemic have been undermined by glitches that are barring Americans abroad's access to the aid.

Democrats Abroad has written to the Treasury Secretary and the IRS Commissioner outlining a range of problems - with the Non-Filers: Enter Information Here and Get My Payment tools and other - that are obstructing the flow of aid to Americans abroad.  We have recommended fixes for the glitches and problems and will, in association with our friends in Congress, be chasing them up.
