Dear Democrats Abroad in China,  

   My name is Faith Gary, and I have been nominated for the DACN Leadership Board.  

   I graciously accept this nomination and humbly ask for your vote.  

   I have served on the board of DACN since its inception in 2017. For the past four years I have observed and participated in the hard work of fulfilling our mission - that of delivering the votes of eligible Americans living in China.  

   It has truly been an adventure for me and my daughters. Early in 2017, we stumbled upon a plucky band of the Resistance to the newly-installed Trump presidency. We met with these Resistors and wrote postcards to our senators, beseeching them to preserve the ACA, also known as Obamacare.  

   That tiny action led to my election to the inaugural board of Democrats Abroad China in 2017. I was re-elected in 2019. For the past four years, I have kept my eyes on the prize of delivering Democratic votes of Americans from China. a 

    I have raised my daughters, whom I affectionately call My Girlz, to “be the change you want to see”. As a result, My Girlz and I have participated in and sometimes organized numerous events focused on informing, encouraging, and registering American voters.  

Believing in “service after the sale”, I actively walked some voters in China through the whole process, including wading through the Senate run-off in my home state of Georgia earlier this year.  

As the 2022 elections approach, I hope to organize and participate in events that will further raise the brand of Democrats Abroad China as the go-to source of voter information and assistance for eligible American voters residing in China.
