Keys to Voting in Arizona from abroad in 2024!

Keys to Voting to Arizona in 2024 from Abroad!

First, Arizonans abroad are lucky that we can request our ballot (and/or register to vote) by emailreceive our blank ballot by email and… return our voted ballot by upload or by email. This makes for quick and secure transmission of election materials!

Second, we have late deadlines for ballot request and return = Election Day!

Third, we are one of those states that has two kinds of ballots for overseas voters.  If you mark on your ballot request/voter registration form (the Federal Post Card Application or FPCA) that you intend to return to AZ, you will receive a full ballot with all federal, state and local elections. (A fixed return date is not needed.)

If you mark on your FPCA that your “return is uncertain,” you will likely receive a federal-only ballot, listing only the elections for President, US Senate and US House.

Think about your own situation when marking your FPCA and about the consequences of “down ballot” elections.  We urge all AZ voters – abroad or at home – to vote ALL the elections on their ballot.
