On October 17, VMF Caucus members are joining this global day of action with one focus: get out the vote (GOTV). Power belongs to the people, but only if we use it.

American families are struggling to afford groceries, gas, and the everyday cost of getting by. Military and veteran families feel it too, regardless of where we are in the world. And now we're watching an illegal war unfold, with service members sent into harm's way and families back home carrying the weight of deployments, missed milestones, and the constant worry of waiting for news. The decisions made by those in power shape our daily lives and our future. We know better than anyone that unchecked power isn't abstract, because we live with the consequences.

No Tyrants: Vote Early is the next step in reclaiming our power. It's about showing up for each other and making sure every eligible voter has a plan, knows their options, and is ready to make their voice count. With the November 3 election just weeks away, now is the time to request your ballot, fill it out, and send it back early. Then reach out to a fellow veteran or military family member and make sure they do the same. No one sits this one out!

Haven't requested your ballot yet? Start at VoteFromAbroad.org.

This virtual gathering is for VMF Caucus members who can't make it to an in-person event near them, but all are welcome. Bring your voting questions and a friend!

RSVP now!

Request Your 2026 Ballot Today

Congress controls a long list of issues that touch our military community and the country as a whole, so November’s midterms are not a drill. A blue wave that takes back the House, the Senate, and seats all the way down to the local level is possible, but only if we all vote!

Here's what to do:

  • Already requested your ballot? Check your inbox. If you asked for your ballot by email, it should be there now. Fill it out and send it back as soon as you can. You can check here to see if your state allows electronic or fax returns.
  • No ballot yet? Don’t worry. You can use the Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot (FWAB) as a backup. Go to VoteFromAbroad.org to learn more.
  • Haven’t registered yet? It’s not too late! Many states are still accepting overseas voter registrations and ballot requests; don’t assume you’ve missed your window. Go to VoteFromAbroad.org today to check your state’s deadline and put in your request.
  • VoteFromAbroad.org will help you determine the best way to return your ballot. If your state requires mailing it back, make sure you have a plan to get it there in time.

Reach out to [email protected] with any questions!

Phone Banking Is Live and We Need Your Help

Democrats Abroad’s global phone banking campaign has officially launched, and we need all hands on deck. ☎️🗳️🇺🇸💪

Our mission: contact every callable DA member. This is one of the most effective GOTV tools DA has, but it only works if enough of us show up to make calls.

Training sessions are running now. All you need is an internet connection. Sign up, learn the system in a few minutes, and start dialing! Every call helps move the needle toward a blue wave in November.
