Let's Do Something!

The relentless assault on our institutions has left many of us feeling saddened, overwhelmed, and powerless. I've seen the chats and received the emails, and I know that the actions of this administration are affecting our members particularly in Switzerland because so many of you are connected to these humanitarian and progressive organizations that are under threat. I have three ways to help you channel your outrage:

  1. Sign up for the DA Take Action page! This is where we have regular calls to contact your representatives, add your voice to protest, or write a letter to the editor. This will get you on the rapid response list.

  2. Organize! Many of our members are not allowed or simply shouldn't speak openly about how this administration is affecting them. We are looking for volunteers to organize resistance activities, particularly in the Geneva area. If you are interested, please email me.

  3. Run for something! Our AGM is on March 30th, and we will elect a full slate of new leaders. Here is a list of the positions. If you feel you can dedicate 5-10 hours a month (depending on the role), then consider being a part of DACH's executive team. We need people with ideas and all different kinds of skills! If you're interested, but not sure, we have an information session online this Sunday.

In addition to these actions, you will find below our list of upcoming events, including our annual Tax Talks! These events are a rare opportunity to get all of your tax and retirement questions answered while supporting DACH. Please, join us!

Democratically yours,

Tory Mallett

Tickets for each event are $30. However, if you want to attend a tax talk and the pensions talk, you can buy a $50 combo ticket on the applicable tax talk page.

Events may be added throughout the month, so check our Events Page or Google Calendar for additions!
