Democrats Abroad Hong Kong Annual General Meeting

Democrats Abroad Hong Kong invites you to our Annual General Meeting and Officer Elections for 2021. 

In accordance with changes to our bylaws passed on February 10th, we will be holding the meeting and elections online. Meeting details will be shared with those who register for the meeting. 

There will be an in-person component to the meeting for current DAHK leaders and potential candidates; those who desire to attend in-person can do so (within existing social distancing guidelines). However, we strongly encourage that people attend remotely.

In addition to conducting our regular business, the meeting will also serve as the elections for four positions:

• Chair
• Vice-Chair
• Secretary
• Treasurer

After reapportionment, Hong Kong will have two votes at the DPCA level. Thus, we will not be electing a Voting Representative for the coming cycle.

Those interested in running for one of these offices can submit their nominations using the following form: https://forms.gle/2xNcEGGSKahf1wY86. To remind our members: there must be gender balance between Chair and Vice-Chair, so candidates for those positions must declare their identity: "male", "female", or "non-binary".
