IT’S HERE!! We told you it was coming! The ballots are being printed! The locations are ready! The doors will soon be open! The Democrats Abroad Global Presidential Primaries (GPP) are happening now online and around Switzerland in early March!

Your local teams in Basel, Suisse Romande, and Zürich have been hard at work planning the logistics to set-up voting centers in each of these cities from March 5th to the 12th. We also have Ballot Assistance Events happening in Bern, Lausanne, and Ticino! The specific dates, times, and locations can be found below. We encourage you to vote and to bring your fellow Americans to vote with you, as well. Even if they are not a registered Democrats Abroad member, same day registration is allowed. 

And if you just can’t join us in person (we would love to see you!), as long as you’re a member of Democrats Abroad, you can also vote remotely. So, if you can't make it in person, you can request your online ballot here. Remember, the higher our turnout, the more clout Democrats Abroad has with the Democratic Party as a whole, and the more effective we can be at advocating for issues our members care about, like tax fairness and environmental protection.

In addition, we are still looking for a few volunteers who can help with the in-person voting centers on the 5th and 9th. Please, fill out this form to sign up for a shift! And please...remind your friends to vote and to get their “I Voted” stickers!

You can vote!

Primary Voters must meet the following criteria to vote

• Be abroad and be a U.S. Citizen
• Be a member of Democrats Abroad
• Be 18 as of November 5, 2024
• Not have voted, nor plan to vote, in any other 2024 state presidential primary (but you can vote down ballot)
   
• Democrats Abroad allows same day registration for voters participating in the Global Presidential Primary. 
• Voters may register in-person or by signing up at https://www.democratsabroad.org/join.
• Voters abroad may also vote by downloading a ballot and emailing or postal mailing it to Democrats Abroad. All information can be found here.
