Debate Watch Event - Last Debate before the GPP

Join us to watch the final debate before Super Tuesday and the Global Presidential Primary! We will allow some time for discussion at the beginning and then will watch the debate that aired February 25 in the US. Come ready to discuss your favorite candidates, or questions you still have before casting your own ballot!

BYO drinks and snacks. If you come after 7pm, there will be a number posted on the door to text to be let in. All are welcome.

Before the debate, make sure you are ready to vote in the primary. We encourage everyone to:
    (1) Request your absentee ballot from home to vote in down-ballot races. Request your ballot today.  Or join us at the Ballot Request Tea.
    (2) Join Democrats Abroad so you can vote in the Global Presidential Primary!

Vote in the Global Presidential Primary in Oxford

Vote in Oxford on Super Tuesday!
Our Oxford Voting Center is open 11-6PM on Super Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Drop by and vote in the Democratic Primary — for real! Voting is also possible by post and email. Details will be emailed to all Democrats Abroad members. Join Democrats Abroad today to vote in the Global Presidential Primary!

    -----

REALLY?!? Yes. Democrats Abroad holds its own primary election. We send our own delegates to the Democratic Convention. And we have our say in choosing the Democratic nominee for president. Voting in the Democrats Abroad Global Presidential Primary instead of your home state is easy for you — and good for all of us!

EASY FOR YOU. No need to request a ballot and post it home again. Simply drop into your local Voting Center. Or download a ballot and email it back. You’ll still need to get an absentee ballot for the general election in November. But, for now, join US voters around the world and vote where you live.

GOOD FOR ALL OF US. Concerned about issues like taxation, FATCA, or Social Security? Voting in the Global Primary shows Congress that we’re out here, in our millions, all around the globe. It gives Democrats Abroad the clout to lobby for us all and make a difference.

NOTE: This is a primary for president only. To vote in local primary races, you can request a ballot from your state. If you do, leave the choice of presidential nominee blank. Don’t vote twice!

If you can volunteer to help for some or all of the day, please let us know by emailing oxford@democratsabroad.org.uk.

If you need assistance to access the voting site, please also let us know how we can help you by emailing us at oxford@democratsabroad.org.uk.

You can attend the GPP and vote even if you don't RSVP, although having a sense of numbers will help us plan volunteer staffing.
