Getting Consumption Right:

The Key to Realizing Sustainable Development

What does sustainable development mean?  Did the COP in Paris solve anything? There so many issues, how can I do something effective? What role can women in particular play?

Come and join Garrette Clark, Sustainable Lifestyles Program Officer at the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), and find out more about the overarching issue of sustainable development and how our daily decisions as citizens, and particularly as women, whether students, business people, educators, or government workers - can make a difference.  She will highlight the rationale and momentum behind the Global Sustainable Development Goals, recently adopted in NY by Global Leaders and focus on the role of sustainable consumption and sustainable lifestyles, with a highlight on gender.
