Membership Verification Home Stretch
Our efforts to make sure member information is accurate have to finish in the next two weeks, and this election year we really need you to make sure your contact info is up-to-date to receive any election-related news. Take a just a few minutes by logging into the Democrats Abroad Japan website, then selecting Account Settings.
All the Info You Need to Vote in 2024 from Japan
To help you successfully register and vote in 2024 primary and general elections in your state, we’ve put together a comprehensive information source—updated regularly—on our website here. Check back regularly and be sure to let any friends or family in Japan know—whether or not they’re a DAJ member. The first step? In recognition of International Voter Registration Day this past Monday (every year on Jan 15), submit your ballot request your ballot TODAY at votefromabroad.org – if you’re not registered, you can do that, too!
DAJ 2024 Global Presidential Primary
Thanks to all who signed candidate petitions – a great way to increase turnout. Official candidates that will be on the 2024 Democrats Abroad primary ballot are: Joe Biden and Marianne Williamson. Remember that our in-person presidential primary is scheduled for Sunday, March 10, 2024, and in-person primaries will be held in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka that day. Stay tuned for more details. Join us a week from Sunday for a virtual gathering, organized by DA AP, featuring brief presentations on key issues and personal stories on a range of topics including issues facing young women, how gender issues are connected, marriage equality, recent changes in the US, the need for more leaders who understand the importance of gender equity and how what happens in the US impacts people elsewhere.
